Traditional Hex chrome is just that, it uses an environmentally hazardous material at the beginning and the end of the process to which the toxic material must be rinsed then treated through an extensive waste water system to then be pressed into a land filled and labeled as hazardous material for life.  The new Green Hex Free Process eliminated all of the Hazardous and toxic material from the process completely and that eliminates the waste treatment and land filling of toxic materials forever!

Build a pilot line to run against current production comparing the old Hex chrome processes to the new Hex Chrome Free process, test side by side and validate that the Hex Free is as good or better than the Old Hex processes.  Once established with data and verification we would expect to build the first environmentally friendly and Hexavalent Chromium Free Plating Facility.  We are looking to single source OEMs to limit access making that OEM years ahead of the competition.  

To be located in South Carolina (specific location to be disclosed by (05/2023).  Facility will be 100' x 100' building with the Pilot Line layout to be 70' x 40' with full air makeup and waste treatment enclosed within the building.   It will have full air makeup/exhaust and a WT system to ensure that all environmental aspects of providing product will be met with all EPA and environmental requirements.

The facility will be able to produce SLA or 3D printed parts based off CAD data to generate a part that can be processed through this Hexavalent Free Chrome Process.  It will be able to provide 8 different color variations from bright chromium finishes to a dark or smoke finish for visual appearances based on customer requirements. 

We can also provide full part testing to the customer provided specification for validation of physical durability along with the cosmetic appearance.

Part processing in the process tanks are limited to an area of 18"x 20" for adequate/proper processing parameters.  Part processing must be kept to less than 2 sqft per part based on the electrolytic capabilities of the rectification.  Parts requiring auxiliary anodes can not be processed at the initial launch of the facility but will be incorporated within 6 months after SOP of the facility to help with more complex product sampling for future business.   

We will also have laser for additional features such as top coat printing and other cosmetic changes or details to make the part appearance unique and stand out from the competition.

In addition to the laser capabilities we will also have the ability to complete other color variations such as paint over chrome to add to already multiple color variations that can be seen through the standard plating processes.

Initial chroming cost is based on 100 sqft per project and listed at 6.56 per sqft.  This would include any standard physical testing based on a current OEM standard.  Additional requirements can be quoted and delivered in a timely manor as required.   All costing models include a breakdown for individual cost such as racks, process time, chemical usages and process set up time and scrap.  Physical testing will be included and any specialized testing will increase standard cost models.
